About Gateway Relay Service

Overview

Gateway Relay service is an easy-to-use, low-barrier-to-entry transaction relay service for the Lukso blockchain. A user's ability to send relay transactions is measured in Gateway Credits, which can be earned in a variety of ways.

There are a multitude of free-to-earn options, as well as a flexible subscription-based option to earn Gateway Credits. Once credits have been accumulated, they can be consumed in order to eliminate the gas fee involved with interacting with the blockchain.

Our Mission

The primary goal of Gateway Relay is to make it as easy as possible for new users of the blockchain to not only join the ecosystem, but to actively participate in the ecosystem and it's growth. This is why one of the two following ideas are present throughout each aspect of Gateway Relay:

1. Lowering the barrier of entry for the user as much as possible. This is conveyed by the variety of ways a user can accrue Gateway Credits. There are paid, and free avenues to go down, and even within this choice lies more flexibility. For instance, a paid user can subscribe for as little as $.50, or for as much as $500 dollars a month. Allowing users to pick their own subscriber tier, with proportionate benefits allows those who would otherwise not consider a subscription plan, to opt in to one on their own terms. In the free category, there are multiple types of tasks that the user can complete to earn credits, with many more on the way. Different types of free-to-earn methods are good for different situations. For instance, if a paid user needs a small amount of credits in a small amount of time, they can watch a video, or try their luck at the daily check-in rewards. On the other hand, if a user has more time on their hands, they can participate in offers or surveys.

2. Strengthen the Lukso ecosystem through strategic partnerships. There are many reasons that partnering with companies that share the priority of bolstering the Lukso ecosystem can be beneficial, but just to outline a few:

   1. Gateway Relay users will be exposed to more services in the Lukso ecosystem, and will be incentivized to try them, all while not paying for gas.

   2. Gateway Relay users engaging with companies that provide a useful service, especially newcomers to the blockchain, are more likely to engage more with the blockchain.

   3. Users coming to Gateway Relay from the Partner, will be more likely to engage with the partner after joining the Gateway Relay platform. This is due to the fact that they will no longer have to worry about the gas fees associated with interacting with the partner.
